Why Sterling Prospecting exists
Sterling Prospecting was founded by Owen Bodily and operates under Sterling Research LLC, a Utah company. It didn't start as an agency. It started as an in-house outbound system built to win business the hard way: researched prospect lists, verified contacts, messages written about the recipient's actual business, and sending discipline strict enough to keep deliverability healthy month after month.
Only after the numbers proved out in production — a 5.6% sustained reply rate, a 2.2% bounce rate, 97.8% delivery across 1,500+ personalized sends as of August 2026 — did it make sense to offer the same machinery to other businesses. That order of operations matters: most agencies build the pitch first and figure out delivery later. Ours was built backwards from a pipeline that already worked.
How we operate
- Small roster, by design. Every campaign runs on the same pipeline with the same quality gates that produced our published numbers — which caps how many clients we take.
- No competing clients. We won't run campaigns for two companies competing in the same niche and territory at the same time.
- Published numbers. Every statistic on this site comes from our live production pipeline and is dated. When a number changes, the site changes.
- Compliance as architecture. CAN-SPAM requirements and permanent opt-out handling are built into the sending pipeline itself, not left to policy.
- Pay for output. Appointment setting is priced per booked meeting. Incentives should point the same direction yours do.
